I am truly at a loss for words, and those that know me would tell you that rarely happens. I probably had one of the very best weeks of my entire life. It was exhausting, rewarding, terrifying, incredible and emotional all at the same time!
It’s Not About Me…
One might think it is crazy to anticipate blessings but I know our God is big and he loves to bless us. This next week my 15-year-old daughter and I will go on a new adventure completely outside of our “normal” comfort zone. Continue reading “It’s Not About Me…”
If We’re Honest…
Francesca Battistelli is one of my favorites in terms of music, in one of her latest releases called “If We’re Honest”she talks about bringing our brokenness to Jesus and love can heal what hurts inside. I have had so many conversations lately that center around honesty and love. Continue reading “If We’re Honest…”
My New Race Car
Several weeks ago I had the privilege of taking one of my grandsons on what we like to call, a “Nana Date”. We got him all situated in his car seat and proceed to the exit of the parking lot in which our adventure was beginning. Continue reading “My New Race Car”
Trains, Mules & A Car Full Of Giggles!
The past 7 days we have been on a little road trip. We took our three oldest grandkids on our first, of I hope many road trips together. Sometimes I forget how fun life can be. It’s A Great Life, If You Don’t Weaken
My grandmother used to say those words all the time. I have found myself using many of the little phrases she used to say and thinking about them. Think about it for a minute, “It’s a great life if you don’t weaken”. So it is not great life if you do weaken? Continue reading “It’s A Great Life, If You Don’t Weaken”
Glancing Back

My 15-year-old daughter recently got her drivers permit. This is nothing new around here as she is daughter number 4 and we are kind of “old hat” at this driving thing. Overall she has done a really great job so far, mind you we are just starting our third week but with improvement each week I am confident she will be ready to test come November. I have to say I am not really sure who is happier at this point her or me. Continue reading “Glancing Back”
Be Still
I have a bit of a confession to make. I have a really hard time being still. My family hates watching movies with me because I am always asking questions due to not paying attention. If I am going to watch a movie I usually have a magazine or my cell phone so I can pin lots of things on Pinterest, that I will never actually use and possibly a bottle of nail polish.
